Roles & Responsibilities:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Engineer at Snowfin Investment. The Data Engineer will be responsible for managing data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics. The role requires collaborating with teams to identify, design and implement complex data integration solutions using a variety of programming languages. As a Data Engineer, you will have to develop, design and maintain a scalable data architecture through the implementation of data migration, integration and exchange processes and data pipeline optimizations.
Requirements & skills:
– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
– Understanding of Data Engineering, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, and ETL Techniques
– Proficiency in Data Engineering processes such as data ingestion, transformation, and ingestion
– Preparation of data for analysis or to be used by a Data Scientist in predictive modeling and analytics
– Expertise in SQL and Python/R. The ability to write complex SQL queries.
– Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, and provide actionable insights.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
– Strong communication and analytical skills.
